Apostolos Blonis joined Dr. Helen G. Papaconstantinou and Partners (“HP&P”) in 2025, following the completion of his one-year traineeship (2023-2024) at the Business Operations Department of the European Union Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO). During his EUIPO traineeship, he focused on absolute grounds examination and geographical indications.

He is a qualified lawyer and member of Athens Bar Association since 2023. Apostolos holds a law degree and a Master degree in Industrial Property and Competition Law, from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens.

During his bar traineeship he gained experience in public and private sectors, working on commercial, civil and administrative law. His work involved legal drafting, research and advisory services across legal contexts.

At HP&P, he takes an active role in managing EU trademark and international registration (IR) matters, carries out in-depth trademark searches, reviews and negotiates contracts, and works closely with the team on a wide range of IP-related projects, driving the day-to-day legal support for both domestic and international clients.

Apostolos is fluent in English and Greek (native speaker) and has a strong command of Spanish.
