Dimitris Kourkoutas joined Dr. Helen G. Papaconstantinou and Partners (“HP&P”) in 2018. He has more than 10 years’ experience in the IP field. He is a qualified lawyer, member of the Athens Bar Association since 2008 and he is admitted to practice before the Supreme Court and the Council of State.
He holds a law degree, LLB (Honours), from the Anglia Ruskin University in UK, a Master’s Law degree (LLM) in International Business and Commercial Law from the University of East Anglia in UK, a 2nd Master’s Law degree (LLM) in Intellectual Property Law, (specializing in Patent Law) from the George Washington University in USA, a diploma in Design and Innovation for Products and Services from the Open University of UK and a Mechanical Engineering Degree (Honours) from the Open University in UK.
Dimitris works with the firm’s clients on issues involving patents, utility models and plant varieties. He represents clients in varied industries including Electronics, Mechanics and Pharmaceuticals.
He has been mentioned as a Recommended Individual in IAM PATENT 1000 rankings for 2024.
Dimitris is fluent in English and Greek (native language) and has a very good knowledge of German.
